Setting Up Your Launch X431 Device
Network Configuration
Both the Launch X431 IMMO Plus and IMMO Elite utilize built-in Wi-Fi for essential functions like registration, software updates, and remote diagnostics.

Enable Wi-Fi: Navigate to
Settings > Network & Internet > WLANand toggle the Wi-Fi switch toON. Your device will automatically scan for available networks. -
Connect to a Network: Select your desired network. Open networks will connect automatically. Password-protected networks will prompt you to enter the network security key.

Confirmation: Once connected, the “Connected” status will appear, confirming your successful connection to the Wi-Fi network.
Important: Disable Wi-Fi when not in use to extend battery life.
Downloading the Application
On the home screen, locate and tap the designated icons (as indicated in the image below) to initiate the download and installation process for the diagnostic application.
You will be prompted to enter the serial number for your Launch X431 IMMO Plus or IMMO Elite key programmer. This serial number is located on the password envelope included with your device.
Click “OK” to begin the download. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation. Once installed, click “Open the application.”
Registration and Activation using your Launch X431 Serial Number and Activation Code
Accessing the Login Screen
On the main menu of your Launch X431 IMMO tablet, select “Login”.
You will be presented with four options: New Registration, Login, Technician Login, and Retrieve Password.
New User Registration
Select “New Registration” if you are a first-time user. Complete the required fields, including username, password, and email address (fields marked with an asterisk are mandatory). Tap “Register.”
Upon successful registration, enter the 12-digit Launch X431 serial number and the 8-digit activation code (found on the password envelope). Tap “Activate”.
Note: Successful registration automatically establishes communication between the tablet and the VCI device.
Updating Your Launch X431
After activation, you will be prompted to update the software. Tap “Update immediately”.
Select the desired software updates under the “Car model” or “IMMO” tab and tap “Update” to initiate the download. Installation will occur automatically once the download is complete.
